Getting Back To Cats On Caturday

Escher Contorted Raja Kitty

Forget about water woes.  I’m getting back to my cats this Caturday.  I have been a bit distracted to take many photos, but I sure can play with Lunapic.  So here goes.  My ever photogenic Raja was doing a contortionist act for me on the deck.  When he does this, it usually means he wants to be twirled, which is weird in itself.  I used the Escher filter, which is appropriate, because of the way he contorts his body.

I couldn’t resist the Kandinsky filter, which had much the same feel, but with color.  I really like both of these effects.

Zoe was back in the Catnip.  Did she ever get out?  The first image of her is with the Jungle Art filter.  It is very apropos since she is buried in a jungle of catnap.

I also used the Floating filter which gives a more dreamy look.  Perfect for my Zoe since she is always dreaming of Catnip and likely has Nip brain.

Right now, I have all the peonies and irises blooming in my garden.  This is one of my favorite peonies.  I used the Watercolor filter for it.

The Floating filter makes the peony rather dreamy looking.  Don’t you think?

And this is the original of my peony.  This one is one of my favorites.

Now I’m going to go on over and share this with everyone for Caturday Art.

  1. I love peonies so much. The rain beat all of mine to death this year, and I didn’t even get to enjoy them. Zoe is so cute in the catnip. There are more than a few nipheads live here. Thanks for showing the original photo of Raja, so we could see that crazy position. What a character.

    1. We Love our peonies. And it happens fairly often that we get a beating rain right when they are in full bloom. This year we have been fortunate so far. Zoe is my real niphead. Raja only sometimes. He really does get into weird positions. He is a very funny cat and makes us laugh all the time. Yael

  3. GREAT PICS. And thank you for commenting on Loulou. Love meeting you. And yes, suitcase ZIPPERS send me under the bed. But I’m staying with a Kitty Whisperer who adores me. Get THAT, mama!

  4. Thank you. We usually shun mommy or walk around accusingly when mommy brings out the suitcases. We likes our cat sitter too, but it just isn’t the same. Zoe and Raja.
