Art On The Run

Snowdrops Blooming
Snowdrops Blooming

I’m making a speedy post today, because I am going to a pruning demonstration for grape vines. Yes, you do this in January in the Pacific Northwest. I had planned to do a summer throwback post since I am tired of winter. This is the abbreviated version. We actually have Snowdrops blooming, as well as several Hellebores.

Another promise of Spring are the Hyacinth I got at Trader Joe’s that just opened up.

Thinking of summer, here are Raja and Zoe on the deck. I’m sure he was up to no good. I used Lunapic, but don’t remember which filter.  And where is the original?  It’s somewhere in my photo gallery.  This is a speedy post, remember.

Raja was staring at the fence in this one. I used Lunapic Monster filter for this one. I love the dreamy purples in this.

And this is the original. This is a little dreamy, as is.

Zoe was laying on the deck table last summer on top of some Catnip. I used the Lunapic Rave filter. I thought it is pretty wild looking.

And here is the original photo.

Well, I gotta run. Those grape vines are waiting.

  1. i Love your art (as always). And We are a few weeks behind you up here in Vancouver. The trees are starting to bud and next weekend I hope to find something flowering for the deck for the hummingbirds.

    1. Thank you. I am so happy to see even a few things blooming and poking their heads up right now. Only a month till we start pruning most of our shrubs. And grapes get done now, and we are in wine country, so all of the vineyards are starting to prune.

  2. Dreamy Raja original has loads of mystery about it, and we loves it even more than the filtered version. Zoe in catnip id delightful through filters and has a surreal feel to it.

  3. Oh Miss Yael, Your ‘Dreamy Raja’ original looks like it should be in a Sunset magazine! I want a garden like that and I want to sit next to Raja in it! Of course Zoe is super cute in her lounging pose, too. I hope you enjoy the demonstration. Mom would love to learn from you on how to prune her grapevine. We live in the PNW, too! Hugs!
