Mommy didn’t have many words to say to us today as she is cleaning up for visitors who are coming in a week. We were on our own. I likes being on my own, except for when I want attenshun.
Mommy got distracted and began coloring. At least she said she finished a design she had been working on for awhile. She made those designs herself and they are in her own book on Amazon. She took a whole hour doing this instead of cleaning. She should have been playing wif us instead of coloring or cleaning. For some reason, she likes this kind of stuff. I likes playing wif the pencils. And I can roll them around the floor and chase them. Mommy always picks them up when I do this. She says something about not wanting me to lose the pencils. She should know by now that all of my toys go under the couch or refrigerator.
My sister, Zoe hung out in the garage, which is one of her favrut places. I don’t know why, it is dark in there. Mommy thinks it’s because I bother her, and I don’t usually go in there. I don’t bother her. Just becuz I sometime swat at her….
Mommy was busy, so I just slept until she wasn’t. I saw my opportunity when she sat down, so I hopped up on her chest and made her pet me and pet me and pet me. That feels so good. She scratches my ears and I just purrrrr and head butt her hand.
She sat holding me and worked on a music play list for the party that is going to happen. She is using Pandora. She is trying to get music from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. She just kept hitting the Thumbs Up button or the Thumbs Down button. What is a Thumbs up button? I didn’t care as long as she was petting me with the other hand.
I hope she isn’t too busy tomorrow, I likes sitting outside wif her on the deck, unless I goes roaming.
And speaking of roaming. Mommy found my collar that I lost yesturday. It was in the neighbors yard. She used the tracker thingie to call it. (what does that mean?). She was very grateful. And I got a brand new pretty collar when she thought the collar was lost. I really likes it. I are so handsome in it. You can see it and see me drinking not off my paw.
It has one of those tracker thingies on it. It tells her where I am on her phone, and makes a noise to call me and tell her where I really am. I don’t like that noise. It’s noisy and scares me, or at least that’s what I want her to think. She doesn’t use the noise because of that. It’s really becuz I don’t want her to know exactly where I am so I can keep on playing.
She really wants to get a gps/wi-fi collar when she finds one small enough, so she can really track me. So far, all she has found are too big. I think it’s becuz I roamed at night a few times. She now picks up my dry food in the daytime so I’ll get hungry by dinner time. And I really don’t want to miss dinner. Mommy likes that.

you guys look cute as always- i might look into the Tile think to keep track of Amarula -apparently Loc8tor–available on Amazon is supposed to be great for cats!

Thanks for stopping by. I’m starting to look at Pixie also. Seems to be a little more accurate than Tile, but you need to attach one of the locators to your phone for help in locating the other objects.

I had never even heard of the Tile until I saw it on my neighbor’s cat…it’s pretty cool looking! Coloring is a very fun activity with kitties 😉

Thanks for visiting. Mommy picked channels for the respective time periods, and then chose individual artist channels. Sinatra was definitely one, and Glenn Miller, and Elvis, as well as Simon And Garfunkle, and Bruce Springsteen.

Your mommy has a great idea with using a tracker on you! Sometimes kitties have so much fun while they’re outside that they forget to come home when the streetlights come on. That kind of thing makes us humans worry a lot. Your mommy may be a busy (and talented) human, but she loves you a lot.

It sure sounds like all you kitties have such a great life and lots of fun. I have some cats here that either stay outside or go inside and outside and they do go off sometimes but they seem to come back. They know where the food is located. A GPS inside the skin would be a perfect solution. You all have a great day.

How interesting that your human used one of those tracking tiles on your collar. The head peep wondered whether those would work for us, but she hasn’t tried it yet. At least now you taught us how to ditch the tracker, just in case she ever tries!

Oooh, a GPS collar, how fancy. When my kitties went outside, I had to rely on the neighbor boy to bring home the collar my kitties used to shed.

Yeah. Until now we have sometimes lost collars altogether, or get them back six months later when someone phones us.
